To say this is a big song is an understatement. I first noticed "Wake Up" when U2 walked out to it at a show in Atlanta. Since then, it has been lodged in my brain. From the bellowing vocals on top of the simple, but successful layers of music to the shift to a Phil Spector sounding production with foot tapping beat and vocal harmony.
As if the song didn't have enough spectacular associations, it's being used in the Where the Wild Things Are trailer.
